Notes Collected

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit notes-collected.com. The short version: the site is hosted in Germany, sets no cookies for readers, and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising.

1. Who is responsible

Laura Hanninger

Germany
Email: info@notes-collected.com

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, which processes data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Every time a page is requested, the server automatically records technical information: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, the browser and operating system you use, and the amount of data transferred.

This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure, for example to detect misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website. The log files are kept only for as long as needed for these purposes and are then deleted; data needed as evidence of a security incident is kept until the incident has been resolved.

3. Cookies

Reading Notes Collected does not set any cookies. Cookies are only set if you log in to the site’s administration area; they are technically necessary for that login (§ 25 (2) TDDDG).

4. No tracking, no third parties

There are no analytics tools, no tracking pixels, no advertising and no social media plugins. The fonts are stored on this server, so loading a page does not connect you to Google Fonts or any other third-party service. The search on this site runs entirely in your browser; what you type is not sent to the server.

5. Links to other websites

Some notes link to external sources, such as museums. Data is only transferred to those sites if you follow a link; from then on, their privacy policies apply.

6. Contacting us by email

If you write to info@notes-collected.com, your email address and the content of your message are used only to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract. The message is deleted once it has been dealt with, unless there is a legal obligation to keep it.

7. Encryption

All connections to this website are encrypted (TLS), recognisable by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, an email to info@notes-collected.com is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.

9. Changes

This policy is updated whenever the website changes in a way that affects your data. Last updated: September 2026.
